Types of Outdoor Grills

There are many types of grills on the market today and it can be confusing trying to decide which to choose. Well there are subtle differences between them and which one to pick will depend on what you want to do with your outdoor grill. I will cover each type of grill in very short detail below.

Charcoal Grills

Charcoal grills are usually smaller and more portable then other types of grills and doesn't require gas containers to be dragged around. They run on charcoal briquettes.

Propane Grills

Outdoor propane grills
run on propane and are medium to large sized, not really that portable generally. They do start up quickly and are ready to start grilling much sooner than charcoal grills though. Gas also leaves almost no traces so all you taste is the food.

Natural Gas Grills

Natural gas grills hook directly into your house's gas line so you never have to purchase more fuel. But because they are designed that way you will not be able to bring them anywhere.

Smoker Grills

Smoker grills work by slow burning wood and using the smoke that it creates to cook the food. They give the food they cook a distinct flavor based on the type of wood used.
